Yesterday’s Rainbow Over Bodega Bay

No one can top this artwork… I had just run inside out of the rain when this glorious spectacle appeared from our back yard…looking over Bodega Harbor these 2 rainbows were enormous.  Grabbed the camera and tried to get it all in. Wow!Rainbow over BB 2 for web

One More Day

Farm House  Another new painting started last week. Still playing with the colors. Hope to finish tomorrow if its not raining and windy. Some people call our town Blow-dega Bay because of the fierce wind.My old studio doors rattle loudly which is distracting. Might have to work in the house in that case.

Here is a  new painting I started last week… not finished but making me happy so far.  It’s 20″ x 20″ acrylic on canvas with charcoal. Love that effect.  Two more days until I start the daily painting regimen.  To boost the challenge I will also commit to one hour of exercise each day. Now if the rain would just hold off.

Yes, They are for You!

Hello!..this is the first entry on my new blog. It seems like a good idea to communicate with the outside world about my art but, the real reason I wanted a blog is to challenge myself to try daily painting…this is a discipline that several artists try, at least for a while.
